Hello, I'm Sandra Kirley, a dedicated professional with over 21 years of experience as a translator. As a UK native, I specialize in translating Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish into English, along with French to English. My academic background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Nordic language translation, an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction, and a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages with a focus on translation.

Throughout my career, I've developed expertise in marketing, creative texts, and business communications. I've had the privilege of working in various domains such as fashion, interior design, health, beauty, cosmetics, art and culture, entertainment (TV/media), and tourism. Notably, I've held in-house positions for prestigious organizations, including serving as the official Danish>English translator for the press agency during the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.
My commitment to continuous learning is evident as I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English and Creative Writing. Fluent in Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish, and having undergone six years of translation studies at European universities, I bring a bilingual and bi-cultural perspective to my work. With a strong foundation in international business, corporate experience, and qualifications in marketing and creative writing, I've amassed two decades of translation experience, serving a diverse clientele in the Nordic region.
